About Stephen Mold
Stephen is working hard to become the Next
Conservative MP for Derby North and in doing so
bringing about the change of Government this
country so badly needs.
He like a lot of people who would like to see change
and things to done in a different way.
Stephen is happily married to Nikki, in 2007 they
celebrated the arrival of their first child,
James. They are seeing first hand, how wonderful
& challenging bringing up a child in the modern
world can be.
He has built a successful career, and is not from
any sort of political background.
He is not from what is perceived as a traditional
Conservative background, the working class
community he grew up in were all staunch die
hard labour supporters.
He had a normal upbringing, he climbed trees, played
football, joined a youth organisation the Air
Training Corps. This taught him tolerance, how to
work with others through team-work and it
certainly kept him out of trouble and also
taught him responsibility.
His education was at an
ordinary comprehensive, and his dream of further
education came to a grinding halt, when his
father who was self employed had an accident and
he needed to go out to work to help pay the
bills.
Today, people who are experiencing the
same problems he had, are stifled by the benefit
culture and robbed of their dignity and drive
Over the last 20 years; Stephen worked his way up
through the ranks, from his first job unloading
lorries to becoming the European Sales &
Marketing Director of a US software company.
Derby needs a Member of Parliament who is
Hardworking, shows determination and commitment
to serving the needs of the people of Derby.
Stephen is passionate about making sure everyone
gets their opportunity to make the most of their
lives.
He wants to deliver a positive campaign that
clearly sets out why Derby needs a young,
energetic MP.
